Hi folks.  I'll be making my first trip to Australia in April.  We only have two weeks, so I'm trying to narrow down a list of wildlife goals in order to undertake a feasible itinerary without running ourselves ragged.  One of my main goals is swimming with and photographing whale sharks.  It looks like NW Australia is the place to do this, and I'm curious if any NPN members have done this before.  Just wondering if there are any recommendations for companies, about the photography experience, etc.  So many of these trips are canned tours on large boats (not necessarily a bad thing, but not the best for photography) that I'm not sure what I should be looking for.

Any advice is appreciated, and I'm open to any other tips about an Aussie visit for wildlife photography as well.  My other top goals are quokka, platypus, and echidna, but I'm certainly open to other mammals, birds and reptiles.

Thanks,
Max
