One more thought: I wonder if other people (like me) might skip over the Slideshow Index in the Menu and just click on the individual titles, because "Slideshow Index" looks like a title for the lines below it, instead of a link. If people are just looking at the links below "Slideshow Index" titles like "WNP - Volume I" don't give you a clue as to what that slideshow is about. How many people will know what "WNP" means? How about a more descriptive set of links to click on for the "Why Nature Photography" series. Here's a suggestion to replace the current list of links:
Click here for index. <------ instead of SlideshowIndex
Why Nature Photography <------ instead of WNP - Volume I
Bird Photography <------ instead of WNP - Volume II
Landscape Photography <------ instead of WNP - Volume III

Awesome Jim! And Wow, I knew I participated, but had no thought you would put mine first out of the gate. Must have been the title slide that made for an easy choice...
Great job with the slide show. The imagery of course is fantastic. What makes it special for me actually is hearing the voices of people that I've never met - yet enjoyed years of beautiful nature photography. Thank you for that. Great hearing all the contributors!
Looking forward to more volumes.
Lon
ps. I'll echo Wayne's suggestions - although honestly I had not noticed the "Inspiration" selection in the top menu until he mentioned it.

Lon, both the commentaries and the photos calculate into how the show is put together. In this case, your "time" theme worked well with Alberto's reference to geologic time, so I thought the two flowed together well. I agree, hearing the contributors' voices and how they articulate their appreciation of nature adds tremendously to our appreciation of their work.
I have some constraints in the drop-down menu but agree the wording needs to be better. I'll be working on that soon.
Thanks again to all who have contributed to these slideshows!

Thanks Jim!! Spreading it widely thru social media and i would ask the others to do the same. Yet another example of why NPN is the best.
Jim, what program/software are you using to create these videos,if you don't mind me asking? I would love to do something like this myself.

Bill, the slides are created in PS CS4, audio edited with Audacity, background music from various royalty-free sites, and it's all brought together in ProShow Producer.
Very inspiring work and words by all the contributors. Once again, well done, Jim!

Yes, it is as amazing as the rest - our sincere thanks to those who contributed!
Let's spread the word by sending links for your favorites, or the link to the Slideshow Index -- http://www.naturephotographers.net/audioslideshows/ -- to photographers who are not yet NPN members.
