The Audubon Society released the winning images and their Top-100 from the 2016 Audubon Photography Awards yesterday, and as I scrolled through the fantastic images I noticed at least 4 NPN-ers! My apologies if I missed someone but it's always hard to be aware of the entire NPN community so please share if you or another NPN member also made the list!
Although she's no longer active on NPN because of time commitments given to other art mediums, my daughter Marlise (now 16) was also included so I hope you don't mind me listing her here as well.
Nate Chappell - (2 images) Yellow-Crowned Night Heron, Northern Cardinal & Pyrrhuloxia
Ken Archer - (2 images) Greater Sage Grouse, White-Necked Jacobin
Ashleigh Scully - Great Grey Owlet
Marlise Launstein - Great Grey Owl with prey (not baited)
