Hi Nigel,

I saw this on your diary page the other day, and I'm pleased you posted it so I can tell you how much I like it! The flying water droplets, in my opinion, make this stand out from other dipper shots I've seen.

Many thanks, I can't tell you just how much my heart sank after shooting the sequence as I scrolled through frame after frame of blurred head images..until I got to this one.

This is brilliant... the water splashes work in such away that they focus your eyes right onto the bird. A great action shot and beautifully timed :toast:

Fantastic shot, can't believe the head is sharp (I assume the drops are from a head shake) AND the bird has something in its beak! Dipper shots can be very boring, but this one isn't!!

Very nice... the water drops radiating from the head take this image to another level...

Great looking image Nigel.
The bird sits nicely on his own little island and the rest just fades out really well.
Obviously the droplets are the added bonus. :toast: :toast:

Hi Nigel

Great image, an excellent variation on the usual Dipper on a rock shots. very dynamic image with the water droplets spraying everywhere.

Enjoyed reading and viewing your recent diary posts on your website. Up to your usual high standard, I like the Corncrake shots particularly.

cheers
