Hey everyone - just "finished" building a website.  As you all know, a website is never done and there is a ton of work left to do, but I'm pretty happy with what I have completed to date.  Please check it out and let me know what you think good and bad!  Leave messages here, send an e-mail or drop by the guestbook.  Thanks for all your help and support over the years everyone!

Looks good, Luke.

One thing, which you may already know, is the Photographs->Featured page is blank.

Lance - thanks, I'm quasi aware of this haha.  I know there are some things that need to be finished up but after staring at it for so long I kind of lost track of what was done and what wasn't.  Thank you !

Beautiful work, Luke. As a native Long Islander I especially appreciated the L.I. images as well as all the lighthouses.

Nancy - thank you - much appreciated!  I have a lot more work to do on the Long Island gallery, I can't seem to remember where I have all of my images haha

Luke, Your work is very nice and the site design showcases it nicely. All pages load quickly in MS Edge and render proprely, as far as I can tell.

I know there are some things that need to be finished up but after staring at it for so long I kind of lost track of what was done and what wasn't

You did a fine job, and having built both my sites from scratch, I can personally identify with your comment. Web sites are always a 'work in progress'. Carry on.

Luke, I have only one small critique which is just a personal preference. When you click on a gallery, I feel it should take you to a page with the pics shown in fairly large thumbnails. Then when you click on them it brings up the larger image. I had to do too much searching to find the thumbnail button and I thought they were too small. Everything else looks great. Love the black and gray color theme. It showcases the photos nicely.

Michael - thanks.  I tend to agree - while building it I wanted to keep everything smooth and clean and it works pretty well on the mobile but when I looked at the "finished product" on the web, I was frustrated in finding my own thumbnails and realized the descriptions only show up when you click on "slideshow" which I think is one of the best ways to view it.  I will be making some tweaks to make it all more obvious.

Jim, thanks!

Preston, if only my wife understood this (kidding!).  It gets overwhelming pretty quick which is why I wanted to make sure I had a good number of images and galleries before I launched so now I can focus on fleshing things out.

You all have been inspirations in one way or another and I can't thank you enough for that !
