Need some help

Hi Folks, I will be in Portland, ME for a couple days of business meetings next week and will have 2 afternoons for shooting.  I'm from Denver (RMNP) and have never been to the northeast so I have zero knowledge of the area and what's available.  Looking for either fall colors or lighthouses to photograph within an hour or so of Portland.  Thanks in advance for the help.

Portland Head lighthouse is very close to downtown, maybe 15 minutes away. Be sure to check it out, although it is best at sunrise, being the East Coast...

For nature photography stay along the coastline.  Goggle the lighthouses that are all along Rte. 1  If you can manage an extra day or so don't miss Acadia which is considerably further north.  I came through the area a couple of weeks ago and there was very little color, but the whole state should be at peak color next week.
