We are pleased to present the work of Igor Doncov as the September 2016 Gallery of the Month. Igor has been a regular contributor to the NPN galleries and I think it's safe to say that we have all enjoyed his participation. Watching his work get better and better has certainly been an inspiration!

Igor, you have such an excellent eye for composition, especially shooting intimate landscapes. I always enjoy your work. In some respects you and Pete Hyde are similar, and both are a true pleasure to view and study.
Congratulations, Igor! I too appreciate your work and your thoughtful critiques.

Thank you for the compliments. I'll try to not let them go to my head. Actually, my son is my greatest critic. He keeps me grounded.
Bill, thank you for bringing up Pete Hyde. However, I'm not in his league. Actually I'm always on the lookout for any mentions of good photographers. I look them up and follow some of them on a daily basis. Each is different and I learn from every one.

My favorites seem to change frequently. Don't know if it's because of familiarity. I like the British photographers particularly because of the restraint in usage of color (Marc Elliot and Charlie Waite).

Pete Hyde is probably my favorite photographer. His compositios and his processing just kills me. Guy, Chuck, Michael wouold all be on my list, as would Clyde Butcher. I'll have to check out a couple on your list.
Congratulations Igor on earning this selected honor here at NPN. Along with your very fine gallery contributions are your additional critiquing support comments to others, especially toward the folks just starting to post images here on NPN......
