We are looking for our next adventure. Has anyone experience with Kakadu in Australia that they might share?

Hi Sandy. We looked at Kakadu when we were planning our Australia trip a few years ago and I was intrigued, but we ended up deciding to concentrate in NE Queensland instead. I recommend that area highly. we were fortunate enough to start out at the Mossman Gorge B&B not far from Cairns and their website linked us up with Del Richards of Fine Feathered Tours. We spent a day and a half with him and got well over 100 species of birds as well as an excellent introduction to the various families of birds. We arranged with him ahead of time and had all private tours. The money was definitely well spent.
