I've seen a few shows over the last couple years outlining photography and some related to changes overall. "Finding Vivian Maier" was a very good documentary, but not really a movie per se.
Most recently I saw an old Midsommer Murder titled "Picture of Innocence",  that was a battle between Analog camera folks and Digital folks. Quite a good show considering it was made back in 2007. It was episode #57 on the overall list of many Midsommer Murder Mysteries. I got a good laugh out of the first Analog guy that went down and the telltale digital memory card found in his mouth as a hint of the whodunit. The second demise was at the expense of a Digital user who was to be found with a roll of 120 film packed in his jaws.

Anyway, most recently I saw a notice of an upcoming release called "Kodachrome" with actor Ed Harris. It is apparently based loosely upon the last ever roll of Kodachrome film being processed at the infamous Dwayne's Photo located in Kansas. To be released some time in 2017.

Yesterday I stumbled upon this late 2016 release with some good actors in it called "The Camera Store". It looks to be one of those intense movies that have little props or special effects and places the outcome strictly on a good story line and acting. I can recall "Lifeboat" and "The Incident" being those type of movies in the past. Maybe this one will give the same amount of entertainment with a photographic spin to it. Below is a Youtube trailer link.
