JPG & Saturation issues on NPN

Despite using sRGB from start to finish ( taking the image in camera to jpg conversion for web to NPN publication), I have noticed about a 10% plus increase in saturation especially in magentas and blues when looking at the finished jpg image on my desktop and the published image on NPN.  I do have an ASUS ProArt monitor and I just got a Spyder 5 pro calibration system.  Some NPN members who seem to be particularly sensitive to saturation levels have left comments on my images regarding saturation.  As a result, I have started dialing back the saturation on my jpgs by 5-10% before publishing in some cases.  I also see differences in saturation in posted images on the site between small and large detailed images.  Is this just part of the jpg conversion process or is it an NPN issue?

Preston Birdwell requested that I transfer this thread to the general forums from digital imaging so that it received more exposure.  There are already two replies that one should definitely read in the digital imaging forum.

I'm still being mostly being lazy, uploading a 1600 px/1MB file while letting the software create the 720 px version.  It's very clear that there's considerable compression in the dark tones of the 720px version relative to the larger view.  Yes, it would be nice to have this fixed.  Until then, I strongly urge everyone to view the larger version before commenting, the differences are often large with the larger view much improved.
