New Yorker magazine has a nice article by Raffi Khatchadourian on Edward Burtynsky in the December 19 issue (I fall behind on New Yorker articles).

It's not true nature photography, it's man and nature, but Burtynsky's work is pretty amazing. The article is long, but worth the read.
