Pine Marten
(Not baited)
This animal came out of the scrub next to a hide I was using for Hooded Crows in Scotland. Nesting in a stunted Oak
A local reckoned the Marten would have been attracted by the smell of my sandwiches ,which every one uses to attract them.
The hide was on the edge of a small ldeer lawn. I got two shots. We baited them later and got hundreds of images. several of my friends up there have had shots of them in the daytime without baiting.. But at the end of the day what does it matter.
At least I didn't have to pay for the hide.In some areas they are really common. I failed on the Hooded Crow anyway !!
