Has anyone had any experience with the Heavy Telephoto Support with Quick Release by Manfrotto?
I have the Sigma 150-600 C and need a new tripod and head. The 393 is a lot less expensive than a true Gimbal head.
Please let me know what you think.

I had one before I purchased my gimbal head. It worked fine as it was designed. The problem I had with it is that you are unable to lock it in position. That really becomes a problem if you are carrying your camera attached to the tripod. It tends to swing around quite a bit.
