Ellen
This was taken with my 70-200 VR, with a flash in the gym of Ellen's school. There was a music event that Ellen was involved in.
I blurred out the background and cropped the photo down severely to include only Ellen. Still though, it came out real sharp. I've printed this B&W and it looks really nice.

Some of you have seen Ellen photos since she was four years old (she's is 8 now). She amazes me everyday and I can't even begin to describe my feelings for her. Every morning I go to her room to wake her up and she's sleeping and she's so beautiful, she just kills me.

Mark,
Yeah it seems some of us have watched the growing up process also. Nice shot. Cute kid. Definitely takes after her mother.

OK You guys!! Ellen is my niece and she is just so pretty. (She does look a lot like her dad and I.) And every time I hear Mark say how much he loves Ellen, I can't help but laugh remembering that for the 20 years before she was born he used to say "Kids are for roasting."

Mark, I have those heartfelt feelings for my daughter as well. Where would I be without her is something I don't even want to think about....

Yeah...she's a dork...just like her dad! If Mark were cute, lot shorter, and a little girl...he would look just like Ellen.

I know, she tells me all the time that I'm a weirdo, of course, I tell her that that makes her the daughter of a weirdo.

Oh yeah, I'm a kid lover now.
You know, they can be the best of us, if we pour love and understanding into them, they'll pour that out for the rest of their lives. When I see parent being dicks to their kids, well, let's not go there.
