Wild horse attacks alligator today, Paynes Prairie, Gainesville

Paynes Prairie has wild horses.  There were a few in a group, and one or two looked young.  The horse that attacked the alligator was possibly a mom.  It's hard to tell from the video.

That was crazy Barbara. Thanks for sharing.  I hope the gator recovers.

Thanks, Ed.  Yes, it was crazy.  I've never heard of anything like that happening.  Since the alligator was facing the other way, it's hard to figure out what the horse was thinking.  But it sounded like the people in the video felt sorry for the alligator, too. :)  I actually know one of the girls that was there, which is how I found out about this originally.
