This bird was busy sunbathing at the side of the runway.
I drove stright by before realising at the last minute that it was there.
Reversed back and past the bird that quite happily remained in its sunbathing postion. Thankfully.

Major.

Happily dusting its self, and relying on it's camo colour.

Pirelli stalking? Ye cannae beat it

Hello Major
I know it's a matter of personal preferences, but although it is a good image, I find it just a bit too big in the frame. On my monitor it appears a little over saturated aswell.
Best wishes

A good result Major and a fine image.Don't you just love subjects that stay put while you approach them

Nice image-maybe some selective sharpening around the eye-nice saturated colours :toast:

Nice shot, Grey's are generally slightly more wary than Red-Legged, so you were lucky it stayed. It does look a tad over-saturated on my monitor too.
