Over Labor Day, my family & I had the wonderful good fortune of being able to camp along Lake Superior at the popular Twelvemile Beach Campground at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. I woke up at about 4:30 so that I could go down to the shore and shoot for an hour or so. I've not done much night photography, but I do like how this one turned out, with the dawn just beginning and the still being able to see the Big and Little Dippers.
Enjoy and be thankful that warmer weather is coming,
Tim!

Your timing was good, Tim. I like seeing the beginnings of the sunrise and yet still being able to see the stars. Good exposure and composition. Well done!
