I just wanted to let you all know that I have broken both bones in my right wrist from a fall. I am using the microphone on my cell phone to type this message. It will probably be a long time before I can do photography again. I will have surgery on Tuesday and may know more then. I don't think I can use a microphone with NPN on my computer, so I don't think I can do reviews either. I will miss you all and will hopefully see you again in a month or two.
Barbara, so sorry to hear about this bad injury. Accidental falls can do extreme damage at times. I know only too well......
Years ago I broke an ankle so badly the foot was almost detached and took a couple operations for repairs. Once I was allowed to drive again I was back out doing photographic work albeit at a much slower pace and shorter distances........
I sincerely hope you can join back in as soon as possible.......take care and give us updates when you're up to the task.....
Sorry about the wrist. Dragon Naturally Speaking home edition version 13 works rather well for PC dictation and runs about $50 from amazon. It requires little training and is about 95 % accurate out of the box . I use it on NPN via Firefox without problem.
Sorry to hear about the wrist, Barbara. We'll really miss your presence. Hopefully you can do a lot left handed and I like David's suggestion. Now if you can just have them put a gimbal mount on the cast, you'll be all set. I do hope you heal quickly.
I hope your recovery is rapid and without any other issues after this unfortunate event.
And I hope that your photo gear survived the fall if you were carrying it at the time! Years ago I went down with my camera and long lens on my tripod but managed the fall so it only ruined a pair of pants and ripped up my leg a bit. And more recently I had the leg of a lawn chair collapse while I was shooting from it with a camera and 300/4 - I managed to keep the gear from damage but fell into one of my wife's backyard cactus plants and needed help getting out of it plus a visit to urgent care to get most of the cactus spines pulled out.
Very unfortunate and it hurts as well. I know all too well... did the same a couple of years ago. Ended up buying a light weight camera to calm the frustration of not being able to hold the DSLR. Even though the wrist has healed I still use the mirrorless camera almost exclusively... except for birds in flight. I wish for your quick recovery. Will miss your input.
Best wishes for a speedy, complete and complication-free recovery.
I'm not sure if it's true that misery loves company, but on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Kodiak lens, I fell, landing on my side on top of my brand new 300mm f2.8 lens. The good news was that the lens, except for the hood, was fine. The bad news was I cracked two ribs. I slept in a chair at the B & B the next three nights, and still can't think about Kodiak without getting an ache in my middle-right ribs.

Hope your recovery goes well. The surgery will speed up your recovery and keep everything aligned perfectly. Best wishes.................Jim
