Darren,
You can post it bigger if you want, up to 720pxls on the long side. The image has some mood going for it with the fog. Just not alot of subject to keep my interest. IMHO
Darren, go weird with it! If you have more of the reflection, crop down so we don't see the tops of the trees but see the same image reflected in the water. People will go, "oh"! and will really LOOK at it.

Thanks Mark,
Unfortunately I don't have more of the water in the image...but these are the kinds of suggestions I am looking for....this lake is very close to my house so I will be able to try it many times this summer.....Thanks
Darren
To me, mist rising off a lake is an way too often photographed scene. Unless you can get a Marc Adamus sky in there it's average, average, average. I don't tend to live by the skies like Marc does so I go the other way and try to find the odd comp. I like the comps where you have to look at it and then it hits you. My favorite photos are of a common scene made new via the photographers perspective.
IMHO the line of dark blue with the neatly resolved reflections below it is kind of the focus here, unless you can find something strong on the shore behind it (maybe that one fir tree over on the left....???) Crop & focus in! IMHO of course.
