Metlako Falls, (again)..
Nothing real special about this shot as it has been done by really talented folks around here - but it was a personal best for me of this falls. Despite the flat lighting and telephoto compression, the mist gives what I feel is some nice depth..

Oh yeah, you suck.

Ned...Mark has got it all wrong...you dont suck, you blow! this is pretty nice. As good as any I've seen from this location. I still can't get past that whole water spout coming out of the tree though...which is why I dont have this image on my site...and I STILL haven't seen an image of these falls without that little cloud there...

That little cloud is actually hard to get sometimes, I waited for hours, and it never materialized for me :frown:

Ned, this is great, you captured this as good as anyone could. Beautiful!

OK... That's it!!! I think when we hire the log removal experts we need to blow a little coin on getting that forward leaning tree winched back a couple of degrees.... :jump:

Lets set up a fundraiser and see if we can get enough dough to give to forest service so they can blow both of those trees to say the arch in Utah.

Beautiful waterfall, so well composed, Ned! You're the "King of Kascades!" :)

Nice, Ned.

Really great vibe to this - I think it's cool you're able to make water come out of the side of a thin tree like that.

Ned,

Nice interpretation of Metlako. I like the way you kept the height of the trees nearby. You know, you can always remove logs in PS
