I have tried many different products to try to eliminate noise in my RAW images from my Canon 1DX mk II, which my eyes see plenty of noise above ISO 1600.
Is it really possible to get a relatively noise free image with this camera by either camera settings or software?

I routinely shoot in excess of 1600 ISO on my 1Dx Mark II with very good results so yes indeed it is possible. In fact I have gone above 3200 at times but there some post production work is often, but not always, needed. Not sure what I can tell you about settings other than do follow the expose to the right philosophy. I know there are debates as to whether it is "real" or not but I have proved to my own satisfaction that there is benefit. Underexposure and lightening after the fact is a sure bet to reveal noise with any camera at almost any ISO.
