Hi, Mark - can you clarify further - do you mean like a "busy" BG, or a person being "busy" with some task, or ?
Thanks
Sandy

I'm thinking about an image with lots of elements in it.

Sandy,
"Busy" usually refers to a chaotic image, an image where the point of interest is absent or hard to determine or several exist that compete with one another (equally dominant).

Very nice example, Igor. Some really neat colors and even though it's busy it's a pleasing view. Not sure I'd seen that one before.......
I really don't have any "busy" images to share, I just post my normal "chaotic" images all the time.......

I thought the diagonal grass would hold the image together. But it clearly does not. I think it's easier to spot busy images that belong to others than your own.

Hi Igor, just saw this. Yes, your image is busy, but I agree with Paul that it looks very good, the mixture of 3 strong colors scattered makes for a nearly abstract view with some fine colors and textures. While there's no focal point, it's a good sense of motion that keeps it interesting.
