Some passive benefits at NPN

I've been participating here at NPN for the last 9 years, which has been a great learning experience. It has many known benefits :

• Great platform to learn and display your pictures.
• One learns to write good critique, as a result an Indian magazine once invited me to critique readers' pictures.
• Sometimes one gets published in newspapers and magazines.
• Exposure here results in print sales.
• One can interact with like-minded skilled photographers, which further enhances your knowledge and skill etc. etc.

Besides these points, recently, I've discovered two more points:

• As a regular participation over the years, I've build up massive portfolio here, which can be referred if the opportunity arises.
• At times, when I feel low, I just go through the comments and feel good.

I agree with all of your points, Jagdeep.  I'd like to add one more.

You get new ideas that broaden your photographic vision.
