I posted an image about Nov 1 to the PA gallery. It had quite a few comments and a repost and now it's gone. It's also gone from my gallery.
What happened?
Thanks

Dan, did you check the box on the upload page that says "Note - this photo will also appear in your Personal Gallery. All photos are automatically deleted after 35 days. If you wish to exclude this photo from automatic deletion, check this box: "

That's all I can offer.

No explanation here - I have unchecked the box on a number of posts of mine, yet they remain for eternity - the opposite of your problem.   I think I have something like 4,000 pictures posted by now...eeek.

Thank you.
I probably forgot to check the box. I don't understand why any would be deleted, they should just get rid of the check box and keep the images.

Personally, I like having the option of either keeping or deleting images in my gallery. Its a good option and system if it works and people are aware of it and can remember to check the box (something I forget to do on occasion). Not sure about Sandy's issue. Whenever I have gone back and unchecked the "save" box, the image disappears from my gallery within a day or two. Hope this isn't because that the editors are a lot more willing to delete my photos!
