Another Lightroom issue

Just a warning on the latest update.  When I tried to install it, it failed and it was at a point where it disabled LR completely.  Apparently its a fairly common issue on the Adobe forums that no one has a good solution for.  One of the files seems to have a permissions issue and can't be moved from the temp folder that's set up for the installation to the regular folder.  I took it to my favorite geek and he couldn't get it to work.  We finally settled on going back to LR CC 6.0 which installed correctly, though I did have to synch the more recent parts of the catalog.  I'm running Win10 on a pc.  No clue why it's happening to some folks and not others.

It wouldn't install here at all - now I guess I'm glad. Good luck in figuring out what is going on. Too much technology!!
