Having been to Conowingo numerous times I can tell you seeing the equipment along the fence line is amazing. A true million dollar row. The action is not as frequent as I would like it and often the eagles are very far away.
My favorite bald eagle location is the James River near Richmond, Virginia. Do you get Nature Photographer magazine ? I wrote an article called Birding on the James River a year or so ago. Amazing location for bald eagles, osprey and great blue heron. Also great horned owls and you just might see a whitetail deer swim across a very wide river.
