ID help requested.

I think this is a broad wing hawk.  Taken in central Illinois, in a small wetlands area.  The hawk was perched in a dead tree above a small pond.  Thanks for your time.

Midwest hawks are a little off my usual turf, but I'd say Red-shouldered Hawk. The tail is wrong and there's no moustachial mark. And I think I see red shoulders.

I'm with Jim on this, although it has been many years since I lived where both species were regular.

Red-shouldered Hawk for certain.
