OK,so here's the deal:
I needed a couple new batteries for my 5d mkII bodies ( I have 2 of them). I don't know how many batteries all of you have, but I have 6 batteries for these 2 cameras. When I am out, especially in the winter, I need to have at least 1 backup battery per camera, because I am not usually in a place where I can do any recharging. My oldest battery is a 2010 version, I think. A couple of them are showing poor recharge capability.
So, I got onto Adorama to order new batteries. I had done some reading, and I found quite a few reviews where people had trouble with the new "N" version. It seemed like they were people who had older cameras, like the mkII. So I ordered one of each, thinking that I will try to compare their performance.
I got the confirmation from Adorama of the order, but when they notified me that they had actually shipped the batteries, they said they were sending TWO "N" BATTERIES. Should I just go ahead and go with this? Does anyone on here have experience with the "N" batteries on an older 5d?
They did not ask if I wanted something different from what I ordered, and I an somewhat miffed that they changed my order without asking.....

Genny, I use all N batts in both 5D4 and 5D2 with no issues. Not sure why others had troubles. They last a bit longer, you'll at least get that from them.
Thanks for the comments, guys. Well, I'm not sure I CAN get the old version, since Adorama is sending me only the N ones. Yeah, I can't remember where I saw the comments; actually, I think it was on the review section of one of online stores.
Well, I hope it works!!!
