Reposted Image:Path into Lake
Taken while on the trip to Branson in April. I like the dark greens and the blue of the lake. The early morning sunlight has brightened the tree trunks nicely bringing out some of the texture. Comments welcome and as always thanks for looking.

David - I like the nice sky blue reflection with surrounding green foliage, however this image looks a bit soft and could use a tad more sharpening. As far as the comp goes, I feel there is too much green at the top of the frame with nothing that really grabs my attention. I think a little tighter crop, along with dead calm water would make this a much stronger image.

Thanks for posting! Been a little dead around here lately...

Hi Bill,

I agree with you on both of your comments. Atfter posting the image I wished I had croped the top 1/3 off and sharpened a little more. I think it's a good image just needs a bit more work. Thanks for the comments! :wavey:

David,

I like this much better. It keeps my interest where it should be. You might have gone a little heavy on the sharpening as it lost a little color saturation. Otherwise, great job.

And yes it has been a little dead around here lately.

Thanks for posting.

Thanks for the comment Dominic, glad you mentioned the color saturation, I missed seeing it. And here I thought I had the perfect image.

I like this much better too David. Just a little less on the sharpening...
