3 Islands
Taken this morning from the isle of Bute with the island of Inchmarnoch in the middle and the isle of Arran at the back. Cropped a little top and bottom as I liked the more square format of this.
1DS2 24-70 @ 67, polariser, F22 @ 1/8th, ISO 200, tripod.
Critique always welcome.
Best wishes

Very tidy, a restful/peaceful scene. Nicely led and fed into the pic.

Attractive scene. Try cropping out the large green mound in the foreground and see what you think.

You're rubbing it in again with your "local neighbourhood" shots. What a superb location to live in. Nice shot that works well but would work as Phil suggests too.

Hi Philip

Yep, I like this, an attractive landscape and I particularly like the detail in the cloud and how it compliments the hazy mountains in the distance. I think I agree with Phil's suggestion as well. If I crop to just above the pink flowers I think the image is stronger. My personal feeling is the pink flowers are not strong enough to add anything to the foreground and in fact become a distraction. Crop them out and the eye is not distracted by the flowers but drawn into the scene. Personal taste though so and the image still works fine as is.

Hi Philip
a nice timeless landscape but I agree with Phil and others about the crop.
