Hello,
I just found this site and think it is just awesome to have a forum local to the region. I live in Vancouver WA and shoot from the gorge to the coast. I have only been into photography for about a year and a half and just can't seem to get enought of it. The talent here in just simply incredible and very inspiring. I'm sure I'll learn alot. I'll start posting as soon as I get the membership.

Hi Jeremy! Welcome! :wavey:

I met you in the Tetons last Fall. Remember the equipment snob at the Mormon Row barn? I was the other guy.

Hey Jeremy. Glad to see you here.

Jerry I was there as well in the Tetons, and shot with Jeremy (the mormon row), not sure if you just called me equipment snob ???? (and why would you anyway ?)

Yep, this is a good group of folks - even if they do hail mostly from the Portland area.

Might make it back to YNP in Sept. '07. Using my vacation for the Rainier and the Oregon coast this year.

Tomas, don't know if it was you or not. I consider anybody an equipment snob when they tell me the lenses I use are not as good as theirs. That's what happened. I was also frustrated by the fact that I was the first one set up there and the guy proceeded to walk about 30' out in front of me and set up his tripod with no regard to my position, then said "You'll be okay". I wasn't. I left shortly after that.

Whoever it was, one of those lenses landed me a book cover with a shot from that trip.
