Wahclella Falls
After seeing the photograph that Zach took of this place, I knew it was a place I wanted to shoot....I got up there real early today and just as I was approaching the falls the rain started....and I hid under the little alcove for a couple hours till it broke just long enough for me to climb up the hill and shoot a few pics....

Please Comment and Critique

Thanks in advance!

Darren,
Your effort and patience really paid off here. The falls may have it's highlights blown a little. I don't think I have ever seen a shot of this falls without the highlights blown.

A real classic nicely captured.. I really like the deep greens. It looks like this crop will make a nice 8x10 or larger with that ratio..

Looks nice, Darren!

Agree with above comments. It's really greening up over there, I'm gonna have to visit my favorite falls again soon!

This is my favorite of the Gorge falls, too! Even though I get my feet wet every dang time I go!!! Great capture. This composition includes all the details (bridge, upper falls, some of the pool, stream) without being too busy--it gives a good sense of place. And the colors are pleasing.
