I'm finally getting around to post-processing the rest of the images from my last Monument Valley trip. Here's one for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy! :)

NIce one, Mahesh, seems a bit dark though.

Did you hear they had a big rock fall there the other day? At first people were claiming that the "thumb" had fallen down. It didn't.

Hey, this one has lots o interest, and that sky is great. I'm sure the lighting is the way you captured it, but it's such an interesting rock formation, that I just cant help but to want to see more detail in it.

I could also go for a little more detail in the rock. But, I also think it works fine this way with having a small amount of detail. It's just enough to keep me looking.

Mahesh, it is a bit dark, but I think that is what sets it apart from others of this same scene. what I find the most interresting is the dark bands of clouds.

Thanks, all! I was going for a darkish look here. Recently I think I've been getting too enamored with recovering shadow detail :) Also, the fact that the surrounding page is completely white, makes the image seem darker than it actually is.

It is neat, and very surreal.. reminds me of say.. the terrain and sky on an old time sci-fi flick or something..
