Because this is a central states forum, I won't post the pics from my recent trip out west in this forum. But I will provide a link to a small web page if anyone is interested.
The pictures cover Santa Fe, Abiquiu (home of Georgia O'Keefe), Mesa Verde, Dead Horse Point State Park, and Canyonland National Park.
Tim,
Those pictures a HORRIBLE. You should go back and try again. Now I think I might fit in a suitcase if you have an extra one, and I can go along, too.
Actually, that is some really outstanding stuff! I particularly like the black and white images AND the color images. What can I say? If you post anything else from your trip, keep us informed. I'd like to see more.
Thanks for sending us the link.

I thought about staying in bed today, since everyone's making such a big deal about 6/6/06. But I'm glad I got up now! This is really an awesome collection Tim. I'm also quite impressed with your B&W images. Hope you will post more as you process them. Thanks for the link!
Did you have the arch sunrise to yourself, or was there a crowd? Every time I've stood there all I had was overcast skies and I never snapped a single frame. Pretty nice spot to hang out though even without a sunrise, although it looks much better with one as you have shown!
Thanks for the comments! I've posted a few more pics on my little blog, but I think I've put the best ones in the link above.
Tim - even though we arrived early enough that we needed a light to see the trail there was already one older gentleman in the parking lot. Just the three of us shot until the sun was above the horizon and then a few more people dropped by. There was a group of Japanese students later on. It was fun to see everyone taking pictures, and everyone got along nicely.
