Another male Linnet
Taken at Dawlish Warren in Devon. Early morning light again. Not sure if this was the same bird as my last Linnet upload, but it's certainly the same branch. The twig is not across it's body now which I like!! I must have moved around a bit! BG is grass and shrubs.

Probably about a 40-50% crop unfortunately. Usual PS processes done - levels, curves and sharpening.

Any comments appreciated

Graeme

Hi Graeme,

Fantastic shot, I like everything about it. The background, sharpness, pose, everything is superb!

Considering the use of a 2x and the size of crop amazing detail and sharpness-very nice :toast:

Hi Graeme

Looks almost identical to your previous post and this is a minor improvement with the clear view of the bird.

The web image looks super sharp which is impressive given the use of the 2x TC and a 50% image crop. That 500 is a top class lens.

cheers

Sean

Mighty fine shot Graeme - especially with the x2 and the crop - shows how good the optics are with spot on technique - bet it makes a lovely A4 print.
