A good book is probably your best bet!

Or try http://www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk - they're a very helpful lot!

Hi Stewart

I recently bought the 'Wild Flowers of Britain and Europe' by Christopher Grey-Wilson published by Dorling Kingsley. A nicely laid out book and a compact guide to take with you in the field.

It's only a tenner.....

cheers

Thanks for the suggestions, the wild about Britian seems like a good starting point as they have a plant section forum, so I will give that a go first......
