Hmm....I not sure what I'm doing wrong? While in PS my pics look crisp and bright, like I meant them to be, but when I post I'm not always getting that for web view? Any ideas what I should do? What do you guys do to properly display on web?
Thanks
Jeremy, are you converting your image to sRGB before saving as a JPEG? Edit --> Convert to Profile in PS CS2. Viewing an Adobe RGB image in a browser can make it appear less saturated and block up the shadows. But for the record this doesn't look washed out to me. It looks pretty good from here.

Excellent comp....would like to see a little more of the mail falls up above the bridge....
I will be headed back up the Gorge all Day Sunday for more shooting.....different angles and comps....stuff like that....

Mike's suggestion should make the difference..
This is really nice, Jeremy. I contemplated shooting it, but the wind was picking up after I got back down, and I decided to go to Shepperds Dell - which was much more calm.. I really like the leafy rock for the lower centerpiece..
Jeremy,
I like it also. The forground is composed perfectly to lead me into the rest of the image. Whenever I want to take a shot of this falls, there's always a group of people standing with their point and shoots gettinng shots with their flash going off.
Hmmm I have a hunch this is one of those images that can only be truly appreciated as a full resolution print. I can see tons & tons of detail that I am missing in this JPEG which might just make the upper portion come more alive.
Do make your conversion to sRGB prior to compressing to JPEG and your colors won't shift on you. Fret not we've all learned this one the hard way.
