I'd just like to comment, in general, on all of the images currently uploaded to our front page of the ES&S gallery here at NPN. WOW! :toast: To all the contributing photographers. Thanks for making NPN the #1, must-see posting venue on the net. Just awesome work all around. Not just in ES&S either, but through all the forums there has been some truly exceptional work lately.

I agree, some fantastic images have been posted lately. I find NPN a real inspiration...seeing all that great work makes me want to get out and keep shooting! :wavey:

Well said Marc. NPN is a great community IMO not only because of the consistent quality of the posts but also because of the different styles, techniques, and interests of the members. I, like Alice, am encouraged to strive for higher heights after viewing posts on the site. The NPN members have taught me so much and for all the posts, all the comments, all the support and all the suggestions I am truly grateful. There may be different levels of experience, different budgets and time devoted to photography etc. but one thing I think we all have in common is the love of creating images. Happy photography everyone and thanks. :toast:

I am continually humbled and awestruck by the photos on the NPN website! In addition, I am deeply grateful to everyone who gives me critiques and suggestions on my own poor efforts at photography. My learning curve is still very steep and the generous people of NPN are a big factor in any improvements that I am able to make in my understanding and techniques of nature photography. THANK YOU!

I would agree, there are some really top notch photographers on NPN. Also, I find it to be notable how diverse the work is on the forums. There's so much to see and enjoy. The quality is often so high that its a bit intimidating to post though at times, especially for a young guy just starting out in the non-dramatic midwest.

Iron sharpens iron though, as it's said. This is certainly a great place to inspire and push your work to a higher level.
