Boulder River
This photo is from this morning on a hike with my daughter. It is from in front of Feature Show Falls. Comments/critiques always appreciated.

Cool looking image. For some reason it really looks like 2 images joined directly at the center. There's an interesting line of elements running right down the middle. Maybe try it as a framed diptych? I think it feels more cohesive without the rock at the bottom, just my $0.02. A really excellent image.

I really like this. Theres a lot going on in a very good way. I think the rock on the bottom wouldn't be as distracting if it was darker (burn it maybe?), the lightness of it kinda pulls my eye to it. Very excellent image.

I second Andy's comments. My mind keeps wondering what the tops of the falls looks like.

My first impulse, even before I saw the other comments, was that there were several photos in the same frame here. dof and sharpness are kind of overwhelming. I can feel the dampness in the air!

Thanks for the comments. I am torn a bit on this image. I really love the texture of the water running across, and I like the idea of the two spills of the waterfall coming in, but I think I should have simplified the composition a bit. I have a verticle that shows the whole falls, but the foreground water just didn't have the same feel.

I think there may be to much too look at in this image. For a waterfall image, I usually like to see only one cascade of water. Just a personal preference.
