Howdy Folks! Looking through some images from last summer, and came across one I hadn't scanned yet. This was from my first trip up to Paradise Divide, north of Crested Butte, and my first stop on a 5 day wildflower photo tour. I was really hoping for a nice sunset to light up Mt. Baldy on this particular evening, but it rained all afternoon, finally stopping right before sunset time. I was a bit bummed, but in hindsight, I really like what I ended up with. This spot is definitely on my list of places to get to this summer.
Let me know what you think. Thanks!

I've spent many nights at this exact spot but it's always been windy. Nice color with a beautiful reflection, but it does seem to have a bit of a CCW tilt.
Looks like a great area to explore. The light isn't draw-dropping spectacular, but it's very nice in a more subtle way. I agree with Todd about the little cloud edging up over the mountain. If you're interested in some company on the next trip out that way, let me know - I'd love to check it out!

Anyone want to make a guess on when this road usually opens up this far? I'm getting anxious!
