Adams, Tatoosh and Hood from Panorama Point (Well, almost)
Here is a photo that I would like to get some feedback on. It was taken up past Paradise almost to Panorama Point. You can see Mt. Adams and, if you look real closely over the third bump from the right of the Tatoosh Range, Mt. Hood. As I was going through the last stand of trees, the clouds came in. I didn't think I would have much to photograph because it was so socked in. Once I got above them, I just snapped away as they moved by and alternately revealed and concealed the peaks.

This is a digital blend because it was almost 9 PM when I took the shot. The clouds are lightened a bit.

As I was walking back down in the dark with my head lamp, I met a couple above Paradise who "just wanted to watch the stars on their blanket." Right in the middle of the wildflower fields! Tourists! They didn't have a flashlight and asked if I would help them down. While we were walking I glanced to my right with the light and illuminated a pair of green eyes staring at us about 15 feet away. You should have heard the woman shriek! Ah, payback...

I find the greens a bit oversaturated.

Isn't the National Park Service supposed to convey some information to these tourists?

James, is this from this year ?? I heard the wildflowers don't show up until July..... it appears a bit oversaturated to me as well. Also it's maybe a little soft - not sure what your sharpening for web process is, but there is a great technique posted here in a post from Marc Adamus. Find it and try it out - it would make this a lot sharper I'm guessing.

I like the composition. If you want to keep the color saturation it'll might work if there were a little more contrast in the rocks at the bottom. Who knows? Greens always tend to over-saturate when you pop the colors, so I desaturate them just a little as a matter of course.

James,
I agree about the saturation which is an easy fix. I myself am a saturation junkie. Aside from that, A nice image.
