The full moon in June is not to be missed in Seattle, as it rises right over downtown when viewed from Kerry Park. This is from last night. What's awesome about the June moonrise is it happens right around sunset. Notice some of the warm sunset colors being reflected off the builings. Enjoy!

BTW, a 24" x 36" print of this from the 7800 looks AWESOME! The blues, especially, are fantastic on the Moab Entrada Natural paper.
Mahesh,
Short and sweet, this "SCREAMS STOCK!" SUPERB!

Thanks, guys!
Mark...ya, I'm going a little overboard with the 24" x 36" thing...but my walls are bare and I love big prints. Even if I run out of space, I'll rotate the images depending on the season :) BTW, I printed out a 2' x 6' (24" x 72") print of the seatle skyline I'd taken last year on a gorgeous evening and man does it look awesome, if I may say so myself. The framers have it now and I should get it back in about 2 weeks. I know just the wall that could use a print like that. :) I think I'll have to do some of my own framing as its beginning to get expensive. Any suggestions as to where to mail order frames and matts at a reasonable price? Thanks!
And since we come from a family of artists, we all have lots of artwork and not much empty wall space. I counted once, and I have at least 50 framed pieces of original artwork in my place. Not all photos... paintings, drawings, wood engravings, watercolors, colored pencil.. the whole shebang. Mahesh, we rotate artwork all the time. My mom stores her extra big pieces in the spare bathroom - in the bathtub behind the shower curtain. I use my front hallway. I call it the gallery as it is covered wall to ceiling. Yes, framing gets pricey.
Mahesh, this is gorgeous, but then, I haven't seen anything of yours I'd consider a dud yet.

Thanks for the info, Mark...I'll check out AmericanFrame and Dick Blick.
Lynne, thank you very much for your thoughtful comment. We just moved into a new home and for the first time I have real wall space to hang my work. I'm very excited. Therefore, I'm going a little crazy with the printing. By the end of the month, I hope to have most of the walls covered with photographs. :)

Here's one from earlier in the evening when the moon first came up. Enjoy!

You better have a house with a lot of wall space, Mahesh, seems like your going to have a lot of 24x36 prints floating around.

Nice work as usual. The lighting on the buildings is a huge factor for the high rating on the spike meter this gives.
