Another Badger
I found an old dug up tree stump last week so my wife and i managed to move it close to my feeding area and for the last few days have been putting some food and peanut butter in various nooks and crannies,Last night i decided as the food was going that i would give it ago,Within an hour of setting up a badger came out and staright to the stump and spent an hour checking every part and giving various positions and poses,I mangaged 35 shots of which 10 are keepers-my best session yet

Hi,

Like it, would prefer a slight lift of the head, just to clear the snout from the stump though (sure you have them...) Also I think I would lose some from the bottom so that the stump loses that placed there look (does that make sense?), I like the flowers in the bg apart from the brighter one about half way down the badgers backwhich could be cloned out or toned down just a shade....

Still a lovely image of a great looking animal.

Hi Dave

Both excellent shots, I prefer the second shot with the improved eye contact.

A good setup and use of the old tree stump. Also very good use of the flash. Are you configuring your flashes manually or using the ETTL thingy to work it all out for you? Either way it is doing a good job.

cheers

They are both great, never seen these alive in the wild, also a good learning experience to see what can be done with a flash or four.
