Stunning pose with just the right amount of wing movement for me. I think a little PS work would bring the eye detail out for the web :toast:

Angels of the sky, Terns are my favourate birds they are so beautiful. I would play a bit in PS as well,
and crop it portrait cloning in more sky underneath.

Excellent pose.Love that open beak and back-lit tail.
A portrait crop would work wonders here.

Great pose Steve but I don't think the rectangular format matches the bird. I would go for a portrait format or even a square one. Needs a bit of PS works to bring out the eye.

Hi,

I like the action you have caught here, a good tern like pose....

I would however lose some from the right hand side to give the impression that the bird has space to fly into, at the moment with the bird facing left there appears to be more space behind it, your whites could probably be pushed a touch more this would have the benefit of bringing out some more detail in the midtones, the 'black in the head might be lifted by using the dodge tool at a very low opacity and set to work on either the midtones or highlights... not shadows. If you use midtones or highlights then only the lighter areas will be dodged, a black will be retained contrast in the darker area will be increases thus detail will appear to be better....

Love the birds pose. Agree with all comments re. bringing out detail in head and brightening the whites a tad.

Very nice.

Cheers.
