Factory Butte & Henry Mountains
I spent some time over the Memorial Day weekend roaming around southern Utah. Made my first trip to the Factory Butte area and was greated with lots of wind but also got this great storm. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Holy cow, Adam...looks like you had some otherworldly light and you expertly used it to full advantage. The first one is stunning, though all three are quite beautiful. Congrats on a successful trip!

I feel very lucky to have had this light. I thought this trip was going to be a complete bust because of the wind. My original plans called for hiking Cedar Mesa for four days, instead I decided on just driving around exploring new (to me) areas and not worrying about photography. I came home with about 350 frames from White Canyon, Factory Butte, and Capitol Reef. Many of the images are unusable due to the wind but I'm happy with the keepers that I got.

Thanks for commenting. :wavey:

I do love that white highlight in the distance of shot 2. The other shots are also extraordinary! Wish I could have been there, as you certainly found some cool stuff!

All 3 are remarkable, Adam - wow. I'm really diggin' #2 - the texture, forms, layers and the sliver of light-colored rock in the middle...stellar!

#1 and #2 are really, really breathtaking. They're all great actually, but those first two are killer shots. Thanks for the eye candy Adam.
