Male Stonechat
Taken at Aylesbeare Common in Devon a couple of weeks ago. Enjoyed watching the male and female singing to each other for a good 20 minutes.

All comments appreciated. BG hasn't compressed very well. Don't know why.

A fine image with good detail-just shows that a 2x in good light can give sharp results :toast:

Buckets of detail, the light looks just right for that, no battle of black head vs white bits here.
Great eye contact to boot.

Very nice , maybe a bit too much dead space on top but that a matter of personal taste. You could have tried to put the bird higher in the frame...if at all possible, but its a very nice image
