Hello! I just got internet hooked up in my new place, so to celebrate I am posting this old image that I just "found" in my archive.

It's two wideangle shots stitched together. Taken in the Sand Creek valley in the Sangre de Cristos last fall... that's Milwaukee Peak towards the right. I was worried after this sunrise because auto-focus was off when I thought it was on... very luckily it was fine and sharp.

Comments appreciated.

Well I'm not at home on my calibrated monitor, but from my station here at work all I have to say is, WOW! :toast:

Wow Jack. The light is spectacular here. Thanks for posting. I am itching to go to Sangre de Cristos.

Is that lower sand creek lake? That looks good to me.

Ken - This is a small pond right nearby Upper Sand Creek Lake.

Sweet, Jack! I like the 'slice' of light on the rock versus having the whole think lit up on top.

Holy cow that is some sweet light. Really moody and beautiful photo, Jack.
