ICON ALERT: Sneffels Fall
Another one I redid as part of house cleaning/future web redesign project. This is from the awesome 2004 fall colors. I met many of the CNP'ers during this trip at the very spot this photograph was taken (Scott Bacon, Darren Kilgore, Brent D., Dave R. and a few others). It's the kind of place you could wake up for every single day and take the same picture over and over. It also helps that while you sit there in the predawn and dawn light, the elk bugle in the distance for you. This is simply a slice of heaven. And I guess that's why the whole area is iconic. Thanks for looking. And always, comments appreciated and welcomed!

PS: I'm getting some nasty compression artifacts on this saved for web version. Those are not present in the real thing. I've had this one printed big before and it's simply sublime. I just can't get it under 200kb and keep jpeg quality high.

I thought you wanted more traffic from the New Mexico contingent of RMNP?

Maybe I'll post it over there next week.

How could you hold on to this one for so long w/o sharing, Brian? I'd have posted this sucker right away! Simply stunning.
