Shades of Pink
You're all probably getting tired of these, but here goes anyway.

Ned,

Lovely beyond a doubt! I think you should do a whole show just of your flower pictures. Have you seen what Randy Dana has done? He is from Seattle and will be showing at the Rose Festival Art Festival this weekend.

The detail is something else, Ned! They're all great shots! Do you shoot exclusively with a macro lens, or do you think extension tubes on a telephoto would be work, too?

Don't stop on my account. I love these.

Thanks for the comments. I'll have one more to post at least..

I haven't seen Randy's work, Phil - I wonder if he has a website with some of his work posted?

This is about the only time I use that 100mm now, unless I am doing casual portraits - I love the lens for that. I would like to try some tubes, but what I really need is a good focusing rail.

Either this one or the next one I am going to post is being sold to a neighbor in 16x24 or larger - cha-ching!!

I've really enjoyed your rose series. This is lovely. The petals look very delicate with all the subtle shades of color.

These shots are a nice departure from green. If you posted them all at once, I'd probably have a hard time looking carefully at each of them. But once a day... no sweat.

The veigns really stand out in the bottom of this.

Keep up the good work.

Ned, these rose shots have been gorgeous. This is the best of all of them so far, I think. The droplets and the fine lattice of veins on the petals really make this stand out. Plus the color gradient that runs from the outside to the center of the flower.

Okay, Ned, I'm really pissed off now!
