Palouse Thunderhead
Saturday evening in the Palouse I was driving on those wonderful winding roads when I rounded a corner and came upon this scene out of my drivers side window. I just about put the car in the ditch!! I don't think I took two breathes the whole time I was setting up. It was so quiet I could hear my heat thumping away!

OK, Velvia 100, rated at 100, Zone VI 4x5 Field View with 210 Symmar-S, F32 - 45 @15th of a second.

Phil, I saw clouds like this on Saturday late afternoon. However, was sitting in the Les Schwab waiting room getting tires put on my car. The front end was shacking so bad, I could not afford to chance driving home on the same tires.

The clouds that afternoon were the best of the weekend. I was disappointed to have missed them. This is a very nice capture.

Nice capture Phil! My only nit would be to crop off the top 10% or so such that the sparse cloud line ends in the upper left hand corner.

That thunder head is perfectly exposed Phil! VERY nicely executed!!

Awesome view of the thundercloud over the rolling green fields. I agree with Rick's suggestion. It would emphasize the thunderhead a little more.

Phil, this is quite a shot. I think the most striking thing about this is the shadow in the grass on the near sides of the hill which suggests the cloud is closer than it is. You placed it nicely.

I agree with Ricks Idea of taking some off the top. I'm also wishing for some more drama. It just doesn't look STORMY to me. It is a pretty landscape though.
